So - what exactly is an Airwolf and why is it so special?
It is a multifunction chronograph, designed with Aviation professionals in mind.
Featuring an alarm, a 1/100th of a second chronograph, with split and add times, a countdown, dual time zone with independent alarm, UTC, and perpetual calendar.
Breitling keep a conscious effort on legibility here with oversized hands, and backlighting and functions kept logical simple and direct.
We love the highly distinctive face, but the most original detail is found on the back of the case, The engraved and cut turbine detail is not just to look good, (and it looks really good) it serves as a resonance of increased amplitude for the alarm and other audible features. Each of the 24 blades were precision cut and hand assembled.
It cleverly looks a modern watch but with a firm footing still in the classic Breitling style, appealing to both function lovers and classic timepiece collectors.
