Easylink -This is a Rolex patented wrist strap expansion system. An Easylink bracelet can be extended by another 5 mm by unfolding an additional link hidden inside the buckle.
Escapement -The escapement of a watch consists of an escapement wheel and lever and is the heart of a movement. It ensures the regular operation of the watch, and connects the spring with the gear train inside the workings of your watch.
Eberhard & Co -A lesser known Swiss brand that has made watches since the 1800s. It is amongst the most successful independent brands, maintaining its position among independent Swiss mechanical watch manufacturers.

Flyback function -The flyback function allows the measurement of time periods in quick succession, which is particularly useful for pilots. The chronograph hand can be stopped, reset to zero and restarted with a single press. On chronographs without flyback function, the pusher must be pressed three times to perform the same process.
Folding clasp - In contrast to the traditional pin buckle that requires the entire strap to be opened, the folding clasps only opens and closes the hinges. This type of clasp is most often found on bracelets made of metal.
Franck Muller - Founded in Geneva, Franck Muller creates astonishing high end watches, characterised by complicated movements and artistic captivating designs. Mostly known for the mad curvy numbers on the dial of several designs.
FP Journe - A bit of an “indie” brand in the watch making world. Incredibly successful -and striking- watches created by F.P. Journe. Certainly one of the largest independent brands still owned by its founder, but also one of the smallest and youngest manufacturers in the world. Journe designs and manufactures the movements for all his watches in-house. Very few independent brands do so.
