The Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver
It's a true sports watch, with all the advancements and features watch buyers expect from such timepieces, but it carries the hallmark Cartier elegance and sophistication you'd expect from this luxury watch maker. The Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver features a unidirectional bezel capable of adjustments to half a minute. Watertight to a depth of 300 metres, its hour and minute hands, dive time indicators and small seconds counter are brightly lit with SuperLuminova. Diver watch enthusiasts are used to the heavy, bulky appearance, but Cartier have pared this down in the Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver to fit into a sleek 11mm case.
Rotonde de Cartier Astrocalendaire
Cartier watch buyers will be looking out for this one. With a rumoured price tag of around 150,000 euros, a crown and bezel of platinum with 18K whitegold buckling the alligator strap, just 100 numbered pieces will be produced of this limited edition perpetual calendar watch. Pushing the boundaries of technology back, Cartier's new movement has 382 total components, with gears controlling the main functions instead of levers. The perpetual calendar is a set of three rings, tiered to display days, months and date. The functions are crown adjusted and move smoothly in either direction.
