Heritage Collection from Longines is making the news. Focusing on its historic link with pilots watches, creating - and recreating, models that are looking back at its most famous history.
Such as the 1931 piece created for Charles Lindbergh the transatlantic pioneer - reintroduced as the Avigation Type A-7 - Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch, striking very different and really desirable!

It also saw a fresh new look at the fifties watch originally aimed at commercial aircrew. That's the Longines Twenty-Four Hours, a re-issue of a watch designed especially for Swissair pilots in the 1950's.

And if you want to go back to a different decade? Well, now Longines are shouting about their new Heritage classic, a 38.5mm based on pre-war designs featuring the dial with a small seconds display at 6 o’clock.

It might look pre 1940s but its bang up to date technology-wise, with a new calibre that uses a silicone balance wheel, and an optional denim effect leather Nato strap in blue or black that keeps you right at the very front of right now’s fashion.
