Johnnie Walker has long been renowned as one of the world’s most famous whisky brands and it has increasingly gained fans over the last few years in China and across the East. It is perhaps the most popular whisky brand in that part of the world. Now Johnnie Walker and the prestigious Swiss watch manufacturer Hublot have teamed up to create a limited set of stunning Big Bang Aero watches to be sold in China. The joint venture is not only between the two world famous brands, but is also a collaboration between Hublot and the new “Johnnie Walker House” situated in Beijing, China. This exclusive Johnnie Walker House is one of three locations outside of Scotland where a bar-style space has been created to serve as an ambassador for whisky culture.
An Iconic Timepiece
Two other Johnnie Walker Houses are located in Asia, with one in Shanghai and another in Seoul. These lifestyle bars are extremely exclusive and cater to the Chinese businessmen who are looking to enjoy a cultured whisky-drinking experience and learn more about their favourite tipple. This limited-edition timepiece has been created to encapsulate the style and class of the Johnnie Walker brand and is based on the Big bang Aero. The watch's face features the distinctive Johnnie Walker logo and the more retro-style John Walker and Sons motif is found on the reverse of the watch.
This timepiece has been especially crafted to reflect the quality of Hublot and the sophistication of the Johnnie Walker brand and is set to become a hugely sought-after watch in the years to come. Hublot fans who love the whisky brand would love to add this item of prestige to their collections, and the watch (reference 311.CI.1110.HR.JWB14) will be limited to a production run of 25 pieces and will only be sold in China.
A Stylish Design
The Big Bang Aero Johnnie Walker House Limited Edition timepiece is set to be an extremely sought-after watch, and the black micro-blasted ceramic bezel that features six black PVD titanium screws is extremely striking. The lateral inserts are made of black composite resin and the dial consists of open-worked black with black transfers and ruthenium and satin finish indexes featuring black SuperLuminova.
The timepiece is designed to appeal to Hublot fans and whisky lovers, and the gorgeous watch is complemented by the golden brown hornback alligator strap that closely resembles the iconic JW Double Black Whisky bottle. The clasp is made of micro-blasted black PVD steel. The casing of the watch measures 44mm and uses the superior Hublot HUB4214 automatic chronograph movement to powers its hands. The watch is water-resistant to 100 metres and has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, making it a great choice for the active or professional businessman.
This signature timepiece is a super collaboration between two luxury brands that have become increasingly popular in the East. And with only 25 pieces being released, the Hublot Big Bang Aero is set to make its mark in the Johnnie Walker Whisky Houses of Asia.
