Switch to leather or canvas?
According to the world of fashionthe only way to be seen wearing your watch right now is with a leather strap or a super cool canvas strap.
What do you think? Does a leather strap stand the test of time in the same way as metal? Can a canvas strap really look smart enough for all day everyday? Or is it a case of different strap for different occasions?NATO Straps
the best feature of a NATO strap is its single-piece construction; most other straps are composed of two separate pieces, and can only be applied by removing both of the spring bars that attach to the watch. Switching out straps is normally a time consuming process, but NATO straps are simply woven underneath the watch, so they can be removed or applied in a matter of seconds. Finally, the addition of a watch keeper strap ensures that the watch case will remain firmly on your wrist even if one of the spring bars snaps. All of these characteristics make NATO straps an excellent choice for nearly any situation, and their low price is a boon to those on a budget. You could switch colours and designs many times for the price of a new metal strap.
Leather -
Not all leather straps are the same .There is a variety of designs - aviator {leather strap traditionally with large rivets holding strap on, and many holes in strap}, milanese {woven leather} Bund {leather strap covers entire back of watch} And a variety of leathers - smooth, snakeskin, buffalo, grained, ostrich, etc etc.
Not all straps for all makes of course and often big brand houses make sure their straps fit their watches best.
