Business is booming at Breitling

Business is always booming in the Breitling world. Breitling has always been a luxury watch brand, but when it comes to their style, and the sports the brand now supports, it is, as they like to say, truly inclusive. Recently launching a new watch -Breitling Superocean Heritage Ocean Conservancy Limited-Edition Watch - at the Waves and Wheels festival {that's a motorcycle, surfing, and skateboarding festival} in Bali of all places, with a huge beach and ocean clean up resulting in the removal of hundreds of tonnes of trash from the beach. We love the new Superocean special Edition, it has an unusual combination of colours that make it stand out from the regular models. The bezel is blue and the dial is silver, with blue accents. The central chronograph seconds hand is blue. Also rendered in blue are the chronograph counters for the elapsed minutes and hours at 12 and 6 o’clock. Additionally, there's the very cool touch of the watch using Super-LumiNova that glows blue instead of green.

News and media sources have it that under the new CEO Georges Kern, 134-year-old prestige watch brand is undergoing some new and radical changes. They are of course most well known for producing somewhat heavy-duty flight watches, often with a military look about them. But now under Kern, the brand is being trying out a new direction, in a bid to reach a younger, style-focused customer. Will they succeed? Well, in November 2018 the brand introduced a reimagining of its Premier collection, five very swanky new watches designs, inspired by the original watches from the 1940s, all of which come complete with a new retro appeal look for Breitling.
