A winning combination
Bentley first invited Breitling to design the clock on the dashboard of their Continental GT car and, in a way that could only indicate future success, Bentley historically claimed first and second place in the Le Mans race that year. Breitling created a watch to mark the victory and the relationship was set in stone.
Breitling began manufacturing its own movements in 2009, starting with the 01, and the 04 GMT and 05 Unitime were launched at Baselworld 2013. It was the Breitling Bentley B06, however, that grabbed the world’s attention and has made it a must-have accessory for watch enthusiasts ever since.
These Breitling watch buyers have fallen in love with everything from its transparent case-back showing off a 360 degree oscillating weight in the shape of a wheel rim, to the open-worked dial that reveals glimpses of the ‘engine’ and the bezels made to look like radiator grilles.
